Biography

Mrs. Sabrina Denise Turner Moss, age 41 of Rockmart passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009.

Mrs. Moss was born on February 21, 1968 in Douglasville, daughter of Herman Turner and Jackie Floyd Turner. She was retired from Floyd Medical Center as a certified nurses aide with nine years of service.

Survivors include her husband, Lynn Moss, to whom she married on November 22, 2000; two sons, Tyler Andrew Moss and Darrick Lynn Turner both of Rockmart; a daughter, Tamika Young of Cedartown; parents, Herman Turner and Jackie Floyd Turner of Rockmart; and a brother, Jeffery Turner of Dallas. Six grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Moss will be held on Sunday afternoon, October 11th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Wigley and the Rev. Jimmy Shoemaker officiating. Interment services will follow in the family lot of New Prospect Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Floyd Pate, Keith Moss, Mark Floyd, Butch Hayes and Kevin Young.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, October 10th between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.
