Larry A. White

Mr. Larry A. White, age 66 of Atlanta passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2010.

Mr. White was born on May 4, 1943 in Atlanta, son of the late Grover Cleveland White and the late Lovell Mozelle Garmon White. He and his son were owners and operators of the Interstate Property Holding Corporation of Atlanta. Mr. White was a member of the Capital View Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Vietnam conflict. Mr. White was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe & Lizzie Mears Garmon, Will M. & Willie Gurley White and Era Adams White; four aunts and three uncles.

Survivors include a son, David Kevin White of Atlanta; a brother, Dennis Keith White and wife Lynn of Stockbridge; two aunts, Mary Ann White Free of Atlanta and Annette White of Powder Springs; and an uncle, Edwin White of Conyers. Three aunts, two uncles and a number of cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. White will be held on Friday, February 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Helton officiating. Interment services will follow in the family lot of the New Prospect Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Steve White, Douglas Bollen, Freddie Lewis and Joe Free.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 5th from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.
