Biography

Mrs. Kimberly Dawn Powell Williams, age 43 of Rockmart passed away on Monday, July 26, 2010.

Mrs. Williams was born on February 18, 1967 in Rockmart, daughter of Bart Howard Powell. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a daughter, Miss Savannah Brooke Streetman.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Wayne Williams of Rockmart; two daughters, April Dawn Streetman and her husband Keith and infant Emberly Elizabeth Williams all of Rockmart; a son, Christian Shay Moore of Rockmart; father, Bart Howard Powell of Aragon; sister, Bessie Madge Hudson of Rockmart; brother, Jackie Starlin Powell of Clovis, New Mexico; and three grandchildren, Shelby Streetman, Shaleigh Streetman and Shyanne Streetman.

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held on Wednesday, July 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Neil Morgan and the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Interment services will follow in the family lot of the Oak Ridge Cemetery of Aragon with the Rev. Archie Streetman officiating.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: John Kelley, Tim Grace, Kevin Childers, David Streetman, Ervin Streetman and Nick Gibbs.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as honorary pallbearers: Jerry Kelley, Jerry Childers and Tommy Akins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, July 27th between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.
