Mrs. Jimmie Tinsley Knight

Mrs. Jimmie Tinsley Knight, age 81 of Rockmart, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015. Mrs. Knight was born July 29, 1933 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late James Felton Tinsley and the late Verde McGinnis Tinsley. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rockmart. Mrs. Knight was a homemaker and from 1992-1999 was employed by Pardners Grill of Rockmart. She enjoyed painting, cooking and crocheting. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Robert Harold Knight on November 22, 2003; and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Hulsey Dean. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Lindsey O’Bryan and her husband Bryan of Rockmart and Malinda Mooradian and her husband John of Dallas; a son, Kyle Knight and his wife Lisa of Newnan; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survives. Memorial services for Mrs. Knight will be held on Wednesday, June 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Jeanette Dickens officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers: Michael Kato, Chris Kato, Blake Turner, Jesse Turner, Ethan Lindsey, Noah Lindsey and Tanner Harmon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service between the hours of 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Freeman Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the memorial service for Mrs. Jimmie Tinsley Knight.
