Mrs. Sharon Gosbee Walraven

March 20, 1945 - April 5, 2019

Mrs. Sharon Juanita Gosbee Walraven, age 74 of Cedartown, formerly of Rockmart, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019. Mrs. Walraven was born March 20, 1945 in Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of the late Robbie Gosbee and the late Gertrude Lydia Oikle Gosbee. She was a homemaker and a member of the County Line Baptist Church. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walraven; a son, Christopher Wade Daniell; and two sisters, Florence Gosbee and Pauline Gosbee. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Tim Waits of Rome; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Martha Daniell of Cedartown, Stanley and Julie Daniell of Marietta and Jeff and Alisha Daniell of Dallas; three brothers, Kenny Gosbee, Purney Gosbee and Robbie “Buddy” Gosbee, Jr. all of Canada; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Walraven will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2pm in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Interment services will follow in the family lot of the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Matt Daniell, Andrew Daniell, Tyler Daniell, Tim Waits, Lee Bagley and Justin Nesbitt. Honorary pallbearers will be: Scott Daniell and Alec Ledbetter. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 7, 2019 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Freeman Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Juanita Gosbee Walraven.
